Location. Projecting over Elliot Bay from its perch on Pier 67 and conveniently positioned in the city center of Seattle, Wash., is The Edgewater A Noble House Hotel. The Bell Harbor Conference Center is adjacent to this waterfront property. The Seattle World Trade Center, Myrtle Edwards Park, Pike Place Market and the Space Needle are within one half mile of the hotel. Complimentary shuttle transportation is available on an hourly basis to the downtown area.
Hotel Features. Six Seven offers sumptuous Northwest cuisine with a Pan Asian flair for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Menu offerings include Tomato Tart "Tatin" Goat Cheese, Rare Tuna "Tataki" Ponzu and Prince Edward Island Mussels with Thyme Burgundy Cream and Chorizo. A sushi and raw bar are available, as is a lounge which, after dusk, serves food and cocktails while a DJ spins techno music. Conference rooms, a business center and wireless Internet access are available, as is a Starbucks Kiosk in the lobby. Recreational facilities include a Northwest themed gift shop and a small fitness room with stationary bicycles, elliptical trainers and treadmills.
Guestrooms. Embellished in the Pacific Northwest lodge style, the 234 guestrooms, some of which offer small, step out balconies, are ornamented with knotty pine furnishings, gas fireplaces and Ralph Lauren bedding. Woolen bears act as footstools and teddy bears sit on each bed. Windows frame views of Elliott Bay, Puget Sound, the snow dusted Olympic Mountains or city landscapes. Bathrooms boast deep claret and limestone walls, sliding doors, soaking tubs, raised bowl vanities and rubber ducks. All guestrooms include cable television, minibars and wireless Internet access for a fee.
Expert Tip. Benefiting both travelers and local charity organizations, this hotel sells bathtub rubber ducks and umbrellas to guests, and donates the proceeds to the Make a Wish Foundation.
